£50,861-£59,159 pro rata (Band 7)
Overview
This role leads a small clinical team within the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service, delivering specialist nutrition and dietetic care to adult inpatients across medical and gastroenterology wards. The Team Lead is responsible for project work, audit, research initiatives, and providing expert input to complex nutritional care.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Small Clinical Team and support the operational leadership of the integrated adult nutrition and dietetic service at Ninewells Hospital.
* Provide clinical support to other hospital teams as required.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues on patient care, pathway development, education, and service innovation.
* Drive project work, audit, and research initiatives to improve service delivery.
* Support training of dietetic students, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experienced dietitian with proven competence in delivering complex nutritional care.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
* Strong commitment to teamwork and service development.
Hours & Working Pattern
30.3 hours per week, core service hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
