This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded manager to take ownership of a busy branch, leading a team whilst driving sales performance, customer service, operational standards, and business growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch, ensuring high standards across sales, operations, stock management, health & safety, and team development.
The Role
* Lead the day-to-day operation of a busy branch
* Manage, motivate, and develop a team to achieve high performance
* Drive sales growth and maximise branch profitability
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships
* Monitor branch performance against financial and operational KPIs
* Manage stock, margins, and operational efficiency
* Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards
* Identify and pursue opportunities for local business growth
What We’re Looking For
* Previous Branch Management experience within a builders merchant, construction supply, building materials, or similar trade-focused environment
* Strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving branch performance
* Experience managing teams and developing staff
* Excellent customer relationship and business development skills
* A hands-on management style with strong leadership qualities
* Good IT and administrative skills
* A proactive and results-driven approach
