Salary: Up to £22,789 pro rata (£17.47 per hour)

We have an opportunity for a Retirement Housing Officer to join our Specialist Housing team based at Storer Court, Malvern, with occasional travel to Platform Housing offices when required for training.
This is a part‑time role, working an average of 25 hours per week on a 4‑week rolling rota. You typically work two 9 am to 10 pm shifts per week, often followed by a sleep‑in and a one‑hour handover shift the following morning. You will receive a £55 payment per sleep‑in.
What could you be doing?
As a Retirement Housing Officer, you will provide a housing and tenancy management service to maximise tenancy sustainment. You will be a regular and flexible customer contact for residents, providing practical and preventative support and advice, and signposting to specialist care and support services to maximise wellbeing, social interaction and minimise isolation. You will deliver effective building management, including property inspections, risk assessments, H&S monitoring and compliance checks, and respond to, investigate and take timely action on reported breaches of tenancy agreements.
What are some of the qualifications we need from you?
* Experience of working in a customer‑facing role in a Housing organisation or with older people in a community/retirement housing.
* Customer focus and experience of working with customers to solve complex issues.
* An awareness of working with vulnerable adults would be desirable.
* Great interpersonal skills and comfort communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Keen to deliver high standards with an ability to look for ways to improve services.
* Confidence using digital devices, ICT software and systems.
* Due to the travel to offices and other facilities, a driving licence and use of your own vehicle will be required.
* An Enhanced DBS check is also required for this role.
