We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent garage in Newbury, Berkshire, for the role of Vehicle Technician. Key duties for the Vehicle Technician include:
13. Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs across a wide range of makes and models
14. Diagnosing faults using Bosch diagnostic equipment
15. Carrying out MOT testing (training provided if required)
16. Performing routine maintenance and complex repairs to Bosch standards
17. Ensuring all work is completed to a "right first time" standard
18. Upholding quality control procedures to meet company and industry standards
Candidate requirements for the Vehicle Technician role:
19. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Maintenance and Repair
20. Full, clean UK driving licence
21. Proven experience working within a vehicle workshop
22. Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and electrical systems
23. Motivated to develop skills and stay updated with automotive technology
