Our client, a leading UK energy brokerage, is looking for a Senior Corporate Business Development Manager to join their team. As the Senior Corporate Business Development Manager, you'll drive new business from SMEs to large corporates, using your experience in energy sales to build strong relationships and close high-value deals. You’ll also support and inspire the sales team, acting as a mentor and leader while enjoying autonomy and real growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and win new corporate clients through outreach, networking, attend industry events and leveraging existing relationships
* Develop and deliver strategic sales plans to meet growth targets, including at least six in-person client meetings per month
* Attend face-to-face client meetings (min. 6 per month)
* Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to identify further opportunities across utilities and sustainability services.
* Proactively manage contract renewals, upselling where relevant and ensuring continued client satisfaction.
* Maintain a consultative approach to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions
* Mentor junior sales team members, share best practices, and help foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture
Key Skills:
* Proven track record in B2B energy sales with experience of at least 2 years either in a broker or supplier environment. Water desirable
* A natural hunter with a strong track record of winning new business and building relationships
* Skilled in building, managing, and expanding corporate client relationships
* Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and the confidence to engage at C-suite
* Strong team player who believes in helping others improve, sharing success, and driving a collective performance culture
* Excellent communicator, highly motivated, resilient, and target-driven
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple deadlines

Salary: £Negotiable with Uncapped Competitive Commission
Benefits: 25 days hols plus bank hols, up to 6K car allowance, career progression
