Position: Assistant Team Leader (Permanent)
Location: Kettering based office - hybrid working (2 days in office)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 8pm (flexibility may be required in the future for weekends)
Salary: £25,000
Start date: 23rd June 2025
About the role
Our client, a successful property services company based in Kettering, is seeking an Assistant Team Leader for their call centre team. You will support the operations manager and team leaders in leading, managing, engaging, and developing a team of advisors. Please note that shifts will be scheduled between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
1. Assist team leaders in daily operations, including managing office-based and remote workers.
2. Support coaching initiatives to enhance team performance.
3. Cover for team leaders during their annual leave or unplanned absences.
4. Help ensure the team meets individual targets and provide performance data.
5. Contribute to maintaining a supportive company culture and motivate the team.
6. Resolve issues at the first point of contact.
Required skills and qualities
1. Customer service experience in a call centre environment.
2. Previous experience in an assistant team leader, deputising, or supervisory role within a customer service or call centre environment.
3. Experience handling complaints and dealing with difficult customers.
4. Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel).
5. Positive, professional, and resilient personality with excellent communication skills.
6. Note: Must pass a DBS and Credit Check with no criminal records, IVAs, CCJs, or bankruptcies.
