Key Account Manager - On Trade - Pub Companies & Regional Brewers role
Ideally located near M4/M5 (Cheltenham-Bristol area)
The Opportunity:
Westons Cider is looking to appoint a Key Account Manager On Trade to help drive growth across pub companies and regional brewers in the South of England. This is a field based role, ideally suited to someone based along the M4/M5 corridor, who enjoys being out in trade and building strong, long term customer partnerships.
The Role:
Reporting into the Business Unit Controller, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for delivering volume, revenue and profit targets across an On Trade customer base. Key accounts include Brakspear, Butcombe, Wadworth, St Austell, Tolchards, Bathams, Hook Norton, Donnington and Heavitree.
The role combines strategic account management with hands on execution, managing relationships across customer head offices, sales teams and individual outlets to ensure Westons’ portfolio is brilliantly represented in market.
The successful person will plan and execute structured customer journey plans, supporting existing stockists while identifying and developing new opportunities. They’ll activate agreed channel and brand activity in line with Westons’ portfolio strategy, working closely with On Trade Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing and National Account teams.
Maintaining accurate customer records, delivering against call targets and developing a strong understanding of the On Trade landscape, competitor activity and regional opportunities will be essential.
The Person:
This role suits someone with proven On Trade sales experience, strong commercial awareness and a results driven mindset. The ideal person will be confident presenting, comfortable working at pace and able to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Drinks industry experience is an advantage.
