The role:
You will set the hygiene requirements in order to achieve customer requirements and continuously improve the function on site.
Reviewing existing practices and the recommendation and implementation of new procedures as appropriate.
Ensure cleaning operations are conducted in compliance with specifications, meeting cost, quality, productivity and H&S targets.
You will continually look to develop staff to ensure that staff are fully utilising their skills as well as coach and develop staff to improve individual and team performance.
You will also drive continuous improvement to maximise efficiencies through the development of people, processes and systems.
Your experience:
We are seeking an individual with experience of leading a hygiene team within a food manufacturing environment.
You should have a robust knowledge of a range of retail standards and BRC and have a good working knowledge of micro standards and current technical legislation.
You must be able to show a track record of delivering improvement, effective management and resolution of related issues.
The ability to lead a team is crucial for this role.
