Join our exciting world of Consumables Private Brands in the EU, where we are launching our own line of Everyday Essentials products across all Consumables categories (Food & Beverages, Health, Personal Care, Beauty, Household Consumables, Pets, Sport Nutrition). We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Strategic Supply Chain Manager, responsible for delighting our customers by ensuring Amazon has the right product quantities, in the right places, at the right time.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Optimize the end-to-end supply chain and improve performance by partnering with Category and Operations teams, as well as external Vendors.
2. Work cross-functionally across the organisation and with Amazon central teams worldwide to drive system and process automation that is sustainable and scalable.
3. Apply strong business acumen and passion for supply chain management to design and implement scalable solutions from end-to-end.
4. Use analytical and innovative thinking to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.
A day in the life:
* Optimize product availability through effective supply chain management.
* Leverage data for analysis and decision-making to improve supply chain metrics such as inventory health, lead times, and speed.
* Manage multiple projects across global teams to enhance EU CPB's supply chain operations.
* Develop scalable solutions to operational challenges with internal teams and Vendors.
* Collaborate with Category teams on long-term strategy, focusing on reducing cost-to-serve.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Experience in owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
* Ability to influence senior leadership through data-driven insights.
* 5+ years in Supply Chain Management with a proven track record.
* Experience in data analytics for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Strong supplier relationship management skills, including contract negotiation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in lean methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
* Expertise in risk management and business continuity planning for complex supply chains.
