About the role
As a CNCProgrammer, Setter, and Turner, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and troubleshooting programs for a range of CNC Multi Axis Lathes. You will be working with multi-axis sliding and fixed head lathes to produce intricate components for high-tech industries. The role involves programming from scratch, interpreting complex engineering drawings, setting up machines, and performing critical first-off inspections to ensure every part is crafted to tight tolerances. Youll be joining a stable and highly skilled workforce, contributing to the development of machining strategies for both new and existing parts.

Working hours
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 17:00
* Friday: 08:00 12:00
Key duties
* Create program for multi axis CNC lathes
* Setting and operating multi-axis CNC Lathes
* Creation of program / machine setting sheets
* Running batch work, checking dimensions using various items of measuring equipment
* Developing machining strategies with Engineering for new and existing parts
Key requirements
* Programming and setting experience of CNC turning machines
* Reading and understanding engineering drawings
* Experience programming Fanuc controlled machine
Desirable
* Previous experience of Ciziten Sliding head machines
* Experience with Edgecam or equivalent programming software's
