Business Development Manager (Full-time, Surrey, BC)

What You’ll Do
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driver behind our growth. You’ll lead sales and proposal efforts, build relationships with industry stakeholders, and connect with clients to push our mission and business forward.
Core Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in construction, industrial, municipal, and environmental markets
* Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic sales plans
* Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and contracts
* Represent Renaissance Environmental in meetings, presentations, and trade events
* Build strong relationships with decision-makers across government, indigenous communities, industry, and private sectors
* Support project execution from contract negotiation to delivery
* Contribute to internal process improvements and team development
Who You Are
You’re a proactive, persuasive professional who understands both the technical side of environmental compliance and the relational side of business development. You’re looking for more than just a role—you’re looking for a longterm career to work in partnership with our core team in order to take Renaissance Environmental to the next level.
Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in water treatment, environmental services, chemical sales, or related fields
* Background in Environmental Science or Engineering (CET, EIT, or P.Eng preferred)
* Deep understanding of water quality regulations (federal & municipal), especially in BC
* Familiar with contaminated site requirements and permitting processes
* Proven sales skills, proposal writing, and client relationship management
* Confident presentation skills to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
* Willingness to travel as needed
