Excell Supply are recruiting for a Maths Teacher with a passion for raising achievement to work in a supportive Bury secondary school. This unique role blends classroom teaching with targeted intervention, ideal for a teacher who enjoys seeing direct impact.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, using engaging, differentiated resources.
* Lead small group and 1:1 intervention sessions with underperforming students.
* Collaborate with the department to develop targeted resources and booster materials.
* Analyse pupil data to plan bespoke learning support.
* Mark and assess students' work, providing effective feedback and next steps.
* Support the integration of new EdTech tools into lessons where appropriate.
* Attend parent evenings and contribute to reports when required.
Ideal Candidate:
* QTS and relevant degree in Mathematics or related subject.
* Experience with GCSE teaching and/or interventions.
* Proven record of raising attainment.
* Patience, strong communication, and adaptability.
* Ability to differentiate and personalise content for diverse learners.
