Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Stock Controller / Inventory analyst to contribute to the Supply Chain team.

As a Stock Controller / Inventory analyst at Terex, based in Campsie site, you'll play a pivotal role in the team, reporting to the Senior Analyst. You will be responsible for running daily Cycle Counting in accordance with corporate guidelines, ensuring the timely processing of transactions in the warehouse, and resolution of queries.

Responsible for taking a lead role in site inventory analysis and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Support the timely receipt/issue of all incoming/outgoing goods on the Oracle system.
2. Work with the store’s TMs in the root cause of stock inaccuracies from daily cycle counts.
3. Highlight potential stock control issues and work in the continuous improvement of all stores processes to maintain high levels of data accuracy.
4. Create and amend default receiving locations to ensure ongoing accuracy of inventory.
5. Assist with the development of process to support the various lineside replenishment systems.
6. Work closely with the stores, quality, purchasing, and production teams ensuring that all transactions are both accurate and timely prior to commencing daily cycle counts.
7. Identify excess inventory and work with the purchasing teams and sister sites to disposition.
8. Provide excellent customer service to other internal departments and external suppliers.
9. Interface directly with suppliers and purchasing to resolve delivery issues and develop standards to optimize receipting and put away functions.
10. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required within the stores function.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills are all essential.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
* Ability to work on own initiative with a “can do” attitude is essential.
* Ability to work with others to meet strict deadlines and remain steady under pressure.
* A logical and methodical approach to problem solving along with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner to meet targets.
* Good customer service ability.

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

* Minimum A level or equivalent.
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
* A good standard of IT skills with demonstrable experience of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
* Experience of ERP/MRP systems, particularly Oracle, would be preferable.

Desirable:

* Educated to Degree level.
* Experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
* Previous experience using stock control systems.
