2/3 weekday shifts to start. Monday & Wednesday confirmed, as 4-6 hour shifts.
Pay:
£15.50 - £17.00 per hour depending on shift.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Due to role responsibilities, you must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
About the Client:
Our client is a female in her 20's with a brain injury, following a road traffic accident.
Whilst independently mobile, she requires a wheelchair for longer distances. She has some left side weakness and suffers with fatigue.
This role will be to provide companionship, support as a PA and assist in the community, including going to nail and hair appointments and out for lunch and coffee.
She loves fashion and photography, and has a pet miniature daschund, so applicants must be comfortable with dogs.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities, including accompanying client in the community and taking client to appointments. Provide emotional support and companionship. Assist with meal preparation. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements: Experience in a similar role, preferably with brain injury. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work the specified hours. Valid UK driver's license.
