POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented and experienced marketing professional to join our global marketing team for this UKI role. Travelling will be expected up to 25% of the time.
In this role you will manage and lead a portfolio of innovative range of professionally formulated cleaning products, and reporting back to the Global Consumer Brands Director. You will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across the UK and Ireland for this portfolio, via product lifecycle management and activation of all new product introductions and innovations within your market.
This means that you will be responsible for all product marketing needs within your portfolio, which includes everything from defining the medium- and long-term strategy, understanding the end operators’ needs and creating value propositions for white spaces and opportunities in the market.
On top of the more strategic and tactical focus, you will be expected to localise and develop product support and marketing collateral materials, making this a hands-on and operational position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leading and managing the Consumer Brands portfolio and introducing NPDs for the UKI market, ensuring implementation and delivery with excellence. (30% of your time).
* Taking the lead role in monitoring and managing the product life cycle, driving improvements in sales and profitability via portfolio mix optimizations and innovation roll out (20% of your time).
* Working with regional portfolio stakeholders to further develop new propositions which will add value and bring profitable growth, and liaising with local sales organisations to present programs, activities and new product introductions and innovations (20% of your time).
* Localising and developing product support and marketing collateral materials (campaigns, social media management, trade fairs, products support materials etc), and having ownership of the Marketing budget, defining the best split across the investment pillars (production / agency fees / activations / media). (30% of your time).
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
* 5 to 8 years of experience as a Marketing Professional (i.e. in portfolio management, trade marketing, brand management or similar). Previous experience in FMCG companies will be considered a plus.
* Experience in product lifecycle management and new product introductions.
* Experience in managing communication campaigns and media budget across multiple channels.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with both frontline colleagues and senior managers / stakeholders.
* Very resilient, capable of demonstrating relentless drive and tenacity.
* Ability to take ownership and initative
