Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting an Internal Account Manager ( Renewals & retention ) to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to take ownership of ensuring clients are contacted at the appropriate time before contracts expire, annual PO’s are required, new budgets are set or prices are increased and present clear financial and operational benefits to support effective renewal and retention.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £40,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus Annual Leave, Pension, Progressional opportunities, family days, golf days & annual Christmas Parties.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday – Friday. Starting times can vary from 07:30/08:00 or 09:00. It is a 37.5 hour working week with a 30 minute lunch.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:
Design and implement a consistent, scalable renewals process to track renewal dates, budget cycles, and key client contacts.
Manage the full renewal cycle from initial outreach to closing, starting 90–120 days or on a specific customer agreed timeline, before expiry.
Maintain a live renewal pipeline report with contract values, renewal dates, and win probabilities.
Forecast renewal revenue accurately and report progress against retention and growth targets.
Support the Group Sales and Marketing Director develop the communications, proposals, and tools needed to support these renewal and upgrade conversations.
Provide the customers with multi-year agreement sales pack, including proposal templates, client case studies, and visuals showing benefits.
Work with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Legal (where required) to ensure smooth contract renewals and accurate invoicing.
Identify, address or raise with Sales or the PPM teams potential risks to renewal, including compliance concerns or dissatisfaction.
The ideal candidate:
Significant experience speaking directly with clients by phone, with the confidence to engage decision makers, build rapport and handle high volumes of client conversations as a core part of the role.
Proven experience in interacting with customers, tenaciously finding decision makers and selling a value proposition in the Commercial FM and Property market.
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to build and present cost and value cases persuasively.
Track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
Skilled negotiator and confident communicator, with strong relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in CRM and sales management systems.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
