Recruitment Coordinator
Hybrid role with 2 days a week in the Colchester office. Full time – 37.5 hours per week. Salary £25,800 per annum plus an excellent benefits package.

About the role
The Recruitment Coordinator ensures a smooth and positive journey for new starters from offer to their first day. You coordinate all onboarding activities, maintain compliance, and support volunteer recruitment.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees
* Process and check compliance documentation
* Issue employment contracts and manage pre-employment checks
* Request and obtain references
* Liaise with new starters and hiring managers to provide updates
* Manage DBS, occupational health and professional registration checks
* Maintain accurate onboarding records and reports
* Support volunteer recruitment and arrange volunteer taster sessions
* Provide administrative support to the wider Resourcing Team during busy periods
About you
Highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering an outstanding candidate experience. Enjoy building relationships, managing multiple priorities and working collaboratively.
Minimum essential criteria
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
* Confidence working with systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
Desirable criteria
* Previous experience working within recruitment, onboarding, HR or people administration
* Experience managing compliance or pre-employment checking processes
* Experience working within a fast-paced administrative environment
* Knowledge of applicant tracking systems or recruitment platforms
