Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Real World Evidence Expert who is communicative and collaborative and analytical to join our Real World Evidence department. This role is based in our offices in Brussels Belgium, Slough UK or Monheim Germany.
About the role
You will be responsible for designing and executing global real-world evidence (RWE) projects to inform strategic internal decision-making; support external decision making by key stakeholder groups such as patients, regulators, policy makers, payers, and prescribers. You’ll also contribute to the wider epidemiological and medical understanding of specific diseases
and develop the underlying real world data infrastructure for a specific disease / disease area.
Who you’ll work with
You will contribute the development of the overarching RWE Functional Strategic Plan for an asset in close collaboration with the Strategy lead for the asset.
What you’ll do
1. Execution of RWE Studies on time and to budget
2. Lead Secondary data use studies, including the most complex and high profile studies; and representing RWE on Primary Data collection study teams.
3. Collaborate with external vendors and medical experts on RWE projects.
4. Collaborate with BQS and RWE Analysts on the analysis plan.
5. Lead the interpretation of results and communicating results internally and externally.
6. Support the RWE Strategy Lead to develop the overarching RWE Functional Strategic Plan for an asset
7. Identify opportunities for innovative study designs, use of new data sources and advanced analytic techniques to solve complex evidence generation problems.
8. Consistently advocate for scientifically sound methods with internal and external stakeholders.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following experience and skills
9. Masters or Ph.D in epidemiology or related field.
10. Experience successfully conceptualizing and delivering RWE projects using primary or secondary data.
11. Ability to translate project work into scientific communications
