We are looking for a Recycling Operative/ Mattress Cutter for our client based in Blackburn. Our client is passionate about sustainability and reducing landfill waste, and theyre looking for like-minded individuals to join their fast-paced, hands-on team.
What Youll Be Doing
* Dismantling and processing mattresses for recycling
* Working in a physically demanding environment
* Operating in a target-driven, team-focused setting
* Performing tasks that involve heavy lifting and manual labour
* Contributing to the reduction of landfill waste
* Maintaining a safe and organised workspace note it can get dusty and messy
What Were Looking For
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items continuously.
Hardworking and reliable
Previous experience in a recycling or waste management role (preferred but not essential).
Positive attitude and a team player.
Willing to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
