Full-Time 3.5T Delivery Driver Wanted Working Monday to Friday (40-Hours Per Week Minimum). Basic Hourly Pay Rate: £12.52 (£13.11 Per Hour inclusive of Bonus) Working 2 out of 4 Saturdays at Enhanced Overtime Rate (£15.65 Per Hour). Job Description: This role is 40% picking and 60% delivery driving, involving lots of lifting and carrying of food products from your vehicle to the commercial client address. You will be working with cold produce, lifting food produce up to 25KG, getting in and out of a van to complete multiple drops each day. Work can start from 5am / 6am depending on deliveries that you need to load and count, as well as planning routes to avoid peak traffic time for your journey. As you will be representing the business at delivery stage you will need to engage with regular customers / client and offer the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities: Pick your load prior to departure, with the help of the support team. Ensure orders are complete on delivery. Accurately record shortages / delivery issues. Using an electronic device / PDA to record delivery data. Report any issues with deliveries/queries to the office. Must ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest health and sanitation standards. Provide excellent customer service level and client interaction. Requirements: Full, clean UK driving licence is essential. Experience as a commercial delivery driver is essential.
