About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Plant Hire Controller and Commercial Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the hire of plant machinery and equipment to our clients, ensuring smooth operations from initial enquiry through to delivery, collection, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day plant hire operations, including equipment allocations, scheduling, and contract processing
* Handle customer enquiries, provide quotations, and offer guidance on suitable equipment
* Maintain accurate records of all hires, deliveries, and returns
* Coordinate logistics with drivers and yard staff
* Monitor fleet availability and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors when required
* Ensure all hired equipment meets safety and quality standards before dispatch
* Administer hire contracts, purchase orders, and client accounts
* Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
