Job Description
Cost Business Partnering role within Group Finance, serving as the front line into the business by providing strategic insight and trusted advisory to the leadership teams. Partners challenge and provide insight to understand the businesses they support, with a focus on delivering robust financial and commercial insight to support strategic decision making.
What you’ll be doing
* Focus on insight and analysis, engaging across multiple teams to provide outputs for management decision making.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships across Finance, Business & Commercial Banking, and Corporate & Institutional Banking.
* Provide regular forecasts including group-level quarterly forecast and Operating Plans with identified risks and opportunities.
* Develop and deliver high-quality financial and commercial insight to support strategic decisions.
* Act as the key Finance contact and trusted advisor for the business and its leadership teams in the Division.
* Explore opportunities for job rotation and new challenges within the team.
What You’ll Need
* Strong business partnering skills with experience of driving cost improvement.
* Analytical and problem-solving capability within a financial environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop a broad network across the organisation.
* Strong Excel skills; experience with IBM PAX and Power BI desirable.
* A financial qualification or equivalent commercial experience/knowledge.
