Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Resource HubLocation: Walsall areaStart Date:Immediate A well-regarded secondary school in the Walsall area is seeking a skilled and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students within its Resource Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils who require tailored support in a nurturing and structured environment.The Role
* Supporting students within the Resource Hub, working closely with SEN staff and teachers
* Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions
* Providing in-class support to help pupils access learning and build independence
* Assisting with behaviour regulation, emotional support, and learning engagement
* Contributing to planning, pupil progress, and record-keeping where appropriate
* Acting as a positive role model, promoting high expectations and inclusion
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds HLTA status or has significant experience at a high TA level
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND (including ASD, SEMH, or additional learning needs)
* Calm, patient, and resilient, with strong interpersonal skills
* Confident supporting learning across a range of abilities
* Proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
* Committed to pupil wellbeing and inclusive practice
