We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who is registered as at least a Class 2B/F with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). Key Responsibilities: Assess applications for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation. Conduct site inspections, documenting findings accurately and professionally. Provide pre-application and general advice on building matters to clients. Undertake enforcement duties, including evidence collection, report writing, issuing formal notices, and preparing cases for prosecution. Investigate contraventions and advise on appropriate enforcement actions. Manage dangerous or dilapidated structures, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Maintain strong client relationships to promote the service and ensure satisfaction. Perform other relevant duties as required. Ideal Candidate: BSR registered (minimum Class 2B/F). Proven experience in Building Control within a local authority or similar environment. Strong understanding of Building Regulations and enforcement procedures. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
