Job Summary
The Role:
As a Community Sports Leader, you'll be the heart of our local sessions. You'll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and fun environment where players of all abilities can enjoy the benefits of team sports like Football, Netball, Basketball and Touch Rugby.
Your key tasks will include:
* Leading safe and engaging sports sessions for our over-50s members
* Being the friendly face that greets everyone by name and fosters a fantastic community spirit
* Ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all
* Acting as a role model for fair play and inclusivity
* Building great relationships with players and venue staff
Who we are looking for:
We are less interested in elite coaching badges and more interested in elite people skills. You are the person who can get a room full of strangers talking and working together.
Essential:
* A natural people-person – empathetic, patient, and fantastic at building rapport
* A genuine enthusiasm for sport and its power to improve wellbeing
* Experience in coaching, leading, or officiating at least one team sport (e.g., Football, Netball, Basketball, T1 Rugby)
* A valid Emergency First Aid certificate (or willingness to train immediately)
* Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
Desirable:
* Experience working with older adults or in community settings
* Based in or near Bath, Bristol or Swindon

Pay: £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week
