Due to ongoing growth, we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Primary Teacher with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) experience to join our dedicated team at Mountfield Heath School, part of Options Autism, in the beautiful village of Robertsbridge, East Sussex.
We're looking for a creative, compassionate and resilient Primary Teacher who is passionate about early education and can inspire our youngest learners to explore the world with curiosity, confidence and joy.
This is not a mainstream teaching role. You will be working with small class groups and supported by a team of specialist Teaching Assistants, Therapists and senior leaders to deliver an integrated therapeutic curriculum that is both structured and highly individualised.
Your teaching will reflect the belief that every child is capable of progress - with the right support, relationships, and environment.
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Primary age range, with a focus on EYFS and Key Stage 1
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with SEND
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create holistic learning plans
* Promote social and emotional development alongside academic progress
* Contribute to whole-school development, safeguarding, and wellbeing initiatives
* Participate in regular professional development and CPD
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and development
* Inspire confidence, curiosity and independence in every child
We're looking for a qualified, enthusiastic and compassionate Primary Teacher with a strong background in EYFS and a real passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs. You'll have experience in early childhood education and an understanding of how SEND can affect learning and development.
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* EDUCATED to degree level
* Previous experience teaching EYFS or Primary-age pupils
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance - and we're putting wellbeing first. That's why we're proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.
Your health and wellbeing are important to us, so you'll get an exceptional reward package including:
* Life Assurance
* Pension scheme with options to increase your contributions
* Your Wellbeing Matters - access to a wide range of first-class mental health support services and physical health checks
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. We are committed to equality and diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
