Allied Universal is recruiting a highly motivated, reliable, and ambitious Relief Security Officer to join one of their prestigious sites in Reigate.
We are seeking security personnel passionate about creating a safe and secure environment, delivering high-level customer service, and genuinely caring for residents, colleagues, and the building. The role requires the ability to provide a kind and personal service in a busy environment and offers the opportunity to build a career with a leading security company.
The shift pattern is relief-based, working 24 hours per week, with potential for full-time hours on other contracts in the area. Flexibility is required Monday to Sunday on a day/night shift rotation.
Your Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive patrols of the building, both internally and externally, reporting faults or safety concerns to management or maintenance teams.
2. Manage loading bay traffic, supervise all vehicles, and complete administrative tasks related to contractors' permits to work.
3. Act as an ambassador for the building, maintaining a welcoming approach and professional appearance.
4. Greet staff and guests warmly, responding with a smile or reassuring gesture.
5. Maintain excellent knowledge of the building and surrounding area to answer questions effectively.
6. Ensure punctuality and organizational skills.
7. Adhere to site policies, procedures, and relevant UK legislation.
8. Understand and follow security SOPs and EOPs to ensure building security.
9. Observe health and safety practices and manual handling risk assessments.
10. Respect personal boundaries and understand the concept of 'Duty of Care'.
