Role: Pharmacy Technician
Location: The Christie Private Hospital, Manchester
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.Rotation - Covering 08:00- 18:00 plus rota weekends and bank holidays

We’re looking for a Pharmacy Technician (Acute Care and Oncology) to join our Pharmacy team at The Christie Private Care Centre, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

Our specialist team treat private patients using a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day care and outpatient treatment all on one site.
As a key member of the Pharmacy Team they will assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meet the needs of all service users. You will contribute to the day to day running of the Pharmacy and will report to the Senior Pharmacy Technician with support from Lead Pharmacy Technician.

What you’ll bring:
1. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
2. NVQ Level 3 in pharmaceutical science and BTEC Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science, or equivalent qualification with underpinning knowledge.
3. Accredited Checking Technician ()
4. General knowledge of drug therapy
5. Experience of working within a hospital environment (
6. Knowledge of Meditech (desirable)
7. Experience of Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets (desirable)
