Role highlights
* Deliver engaging and accessible Mechanical Engineering lessons to a range of learners, including Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications
* Inspire students through practical workshops, real-world applications, and industry-relevant projects
* Differentiate teaching to support learners of all abilities, promoting confidence and progression into higher education or employment
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, assessments, and enrichment activities aligned with industry standards
* Support students beyond the classroom through engineering clubs, competitions, and work placements
About you
* Qualified teacher or lecturer (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering
* Experienced in delivering technical education within a further education or college setting
* Skilled in practical workshops and familiar with current engineering technologies and software
* Adaptable and creative in your teaching approach, making complex engineering concepts accessible and engaging
* Excellent communicator with strong behaviour management and student engagement skills
* A collaborative team player committed to raising learner achievement and supporting diverse cohorts
Early Career Lecturers are welcome and will be fully supported.
