We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at an Approved Premises in Tunbridge Wells. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, ideal for someone looking for consistent weekend work with the potential for a long-term position.
Position Details:
1. Pay: £16.00 per hour
2. Hours: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
3. Days: Every weekend or every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
Legal Compliance Requirements:
4. Food Safety Certificate Level 2
5. Enhanced DBS
6. Food Allergens Certificate
Uniform & Equipment:
7. White chef jacket
8. Black trousers
9. Steel toe safety shoes
10. Chef hat or skull cap
11. Butcher's apron
12. Own sharp knives (must be safely stored in a knife roll/case - not wrapped in cloth)
Key Responsibilities:
13. Work effectively within budgetary constraints
14. Maximise profitable sales through food service brands
15. Plan and cost menus in line with company and client specifications
16. Maintain and continuously improve food quality and hygiene standards
17. Prepare and deliver all restaurant and hospitality services
18. Ensure compliance with company and client specifications
19. Stay up to date with relevant legislation
20. Meet and exceed client and company expectations
21. Respond to reasonable requests from management or clients
22. Support staff recruitment, training, development, and motivation
23. Ensure proper storage of all products, equipment, and materials
24. Deliver a consistent level of service in line with company standards and contract requirements
