A well-established manufacturing business in the heart of Plymouth is seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Assistant to support their finance team during a busy period. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised, and confident, working to deadlines.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for a range of transactional finance duties, including:
1. Processing purchase invoices and matching to PO’s
2. Supplier statement reconciliations
3. Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
4. Supporting with sales ledger tasks where required
5. Bank reconciliations and cashbook maintenance
6. Assisting with month end duties
7. General finance administration and adhoc support across the team
8. Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar transactional finance role
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
10. Confident with Excel and finance systems
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
