Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Sonographer to join a vibrant team in Luton on an ongoing basis. With a focus on obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound, you will be involved in first, second, and third trimester scans, including multiple pregnancy monitoring and assisting with the Early Pregnancy Clinic. What you will do
* Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations in obstetrics and gynaecology, ensuring accurate and timely reports.
* Work with a team of professionals to deliver high standards of patient care, coordinating with consultants and other healthcare practitioners.
* Provide training and mentorship to students, shaping the future workforce in sonography.
* Ensure adherence to all department protocols and procedures, maintaining professional standards.
* Utilise CRIS for reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in documentation.
Requirements of the Sonographer
* HCPC registered and qualified as a Radiographer with specialised experience in Sonography.
* Recent postgraduate experience in the UK working as a Sonographer, with proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
* Legal right to work in the UK and meet all necessary immigration requirements.
