Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Connect Team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. We are recruiting two Senior Configuration Analysts to support and enhance our Epic electronic patient record (EPR) system, working in partnership with clinical and operational teams to continuously improve digital tools that enable outstanding patient care. These roles are fixed term to align with funded programme timelines. Focused on supporting key clinical areas including Beacon/Willow (chemotherapy and pharmacy workflows) and Outpatients/PAS. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the delivery of the Trust’s new electronic patient record (DHR) system within a designated team
* Working on several integrated areas to ensure a coordinated approach across all teams
* Working in partnership with our partners, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Epic
* Analysing and suggesting ways to improve current workflows and working practices
* Facilitating agreement for changes in working practices with appropriate stakeholders
* Matching agreed workflows with those already built into the DHR system and/or configuring the DHR system using configuration tools to tailor the system
* Assisting with testing of the systems to ensure it is safe, usable, secure and robust
Qualifications and experience
* Certified or accredited in at least one Epic application (preferably Cadence, Referrals, Springboard, Grand Central, Beacon, Willow or Research)
* Strong track record of collaborating with operational teams and managing configuration change in a live EPR environment
