A Day in the Life
Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations.
We are looking for an experienced Order to Invoice and Accounts Payable Lead, IHS to join the IHS Supply Chain and Customer Care back-office team and manage the Order to Invoice (OTI) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, primarily for the UK market. You will oversee product master data and lead a cross-functional team across the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and India. This role combines strategic leadership, process optimization, and hands-on problem-solving using Business Central, SAP, and large data sets. We offer strong development opportunities in a growing, innovation-driven business. This is a remote role but based in the UK. You will be required to travel within the UK to client and Medtronic locations (10%), as well as occasionally within the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) region.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Manage the end-to-end Order to Invoice (OTI) process for the UK, ensuring timely and accurate client billing in coordination with cross-functional teams
* Lead root cause analysis of invoicing issues, working with internal stakeholders and client finance partners to resolve and prevent recurring problems
* Establish governance frameworks and KPIs to monitor billing accuracy, usage trends, and spend at the account level
* Oversee UK Accounts Payable processes, driving resolution of supplier issues in collaboration with the India-based AP team and procurement stakeholders
* Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to proactively manage and reduce overdue invoices
* Own master data quality processes across clinical, procurement, and service delivery functions, implementing governance controls and communication protocols
* Act as the internal finance interface for topics related to costing, revenue capture, and forecasting, while managing stakeholder needs such as account activation
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Extensive experience in customer care, billing, or finance operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within OTI, AP, or operational finance
* Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or science, with a strong financial background—audit experience preferred
* Strong data analysis skills (Excel), with working knowledge of programming languages and data presentation tools like PowerPoint
* Proven ability to lead projects and deliver results through influence, with strong verbal and written communication in English
* Experience working in multinational environments with a focus on data quality and cross-functional collaboration
* Broad knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Business Central, with an analytical, process-oriented mindset
* Customer- and business-focused, with a preference for experience in the medical device industry
