Job Description Role: Support the Head of Commercial in developing sales across a number of customer channels in line with Company strategy and targets. Reporting to: Head of Commercial. This is an all & encompassing role responsible for supporting the development of the current customer base and bringing new customers to the business. Key responsibilities Customer Management Support the Head of Commercial in being the contact for chosen customers. Work with team to develop relationships with chosen customers to give a high level of customer service. Work with Head of Commercial in developing and building relationships with new customers. Assist in Sales Reporting: Prepare and generate sales reports, including sales performance, inventory levels, and customer analytics. Provide regular updates on sales metrics to the Head of Commercial. Checking the accuracy of pricing, newline forms, orders, and invoice enquiries, maintaining sales records, and compiling monthly sales reports, preparing presentations. Compile and update physical or digital files on clients, leads and sales. Driving sales opportunitys Work with Head of Commercial in maximizing revenue potential within chosen customers on existing lines and propose options for the introduction of new products. Support the Head of Commercial in actively looking at opening new customers and business opportunities in line with company strategy. Propose how the company can formulate a sales plan with chosen customers to deliver company targets. Analysis sales performance and highlight areas of action/ opportunity. Business Management Work with the Head of Commercial in driving profitability in chosen customers. Work with the Head of Commercial to negotiate listings, pricing and marketing support with chosen customers. Provided sales forecasts to the business for the chosen customers. Provide monthly sales reports to Head of Commercial. Provide customer contact reports / updates after each meeting/visit to customers. Attend trade shows as and when required. General Quality- Ensure that our products and services meet all necessary specifications before they leave the premises. Observation with a keen eye for detail is required. As this job is a support/developing role, it will be a office based role 5 days week with some travel involved. The role requires a diverse set of skills, including strong communication abilities, the ability to lead a team, an understanding of food products or service being sold, and the ability to analyses and interpret data. Sales focuses on generating revenue and closing deals, customer service emphasizes building relationships, trust, and loyalty. As the account and sales administrator, you will support and assist in making customer deals. Aside from that, tasks such as answering customer queries, checking stock availability, checking on deliveries, and maintaining records and databases. Skills and knowledge. Customer service skills.
