New Product Design Engineer job vacancy in the R&D product development design innovation new product design engineering team:
1. Help to design the electro-mechanical configuration of the next generation of a product range already used by over a million people everyday.

As part of a team; value engineering, specialist product testing, find and evaluate new components, develop next generation technology and ideas.

The ideal background and skills required are based around the following engineering design hard skills coupled with the soft skills of design innovation, team working and proactive mindset.
Engineering degree, HND or Level 4 Engineering Apprenticeship
Design engineering 3D CAD drawing skills; creating & updating electromechanical engineering 3D CAD models and technical drawings. Solidworks ideally, but any engineering 3D CAD package is fine.
Eye for detail and ability to complete designs & documentation on time as part of a team project.
