Scientist
Talentmark are recruiting for a Scientist to join a small biotechnology company that develop and supply PCR kits, to be based at their site in Harlow, Essex on a permanent basis.
This role would be suitable for someone who has 2 years experience in PCR and genotyping. The salary on offer is £35-40K.
The role:
1. Design, optimisation, and validation of PCR-based genotyping assays.
2. DNA extraction, quantification, and quality assessment.
3. Contribute to internal R&D and new product development projects.
4. Perform QC testing of reagents, PCR master mixes, and instrumentation.
Your Background:
5. A degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Science, or a related biological discipline.
6. Demonstrable hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory.
7. Experience with PCR and standard DNA handling techniques.
