Location: 3 days a week at Hampden Hall Care Centre, Tamarisk Way, Weston Turville, Aylesbury, HP 5ZB. 2 days a week at Byron House Care Home, - Wendover Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP 9LP
Hourly rate: £. per hour
Hours: hours / 5 days per week (must be able to work weekends)
Shifts: 7.am to 3.pm

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Chef to join our family at Hampden Hall Care Centre and Byron House Care Home. About the role:
1. Prepare hot and cold meals for residents according to their needs and preferences
2. Assist with planning seasonal menus
3. Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and regulations
4. Carry out checks in the kitchen as required to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, for example recording fridge temperatures
5. Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, including washing and clearing up equipment
6. Report all accidents and incidents to the Person-in-Charge of the home
About you:
7. The right to live and work in the UK
8. Previous experience in a similar role and setting (i.e. a care home or a school)
9. Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene
10. Knowledge of nutritional needs of older people
11. Health and Safety and regulatory requirements
12. A positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work well in a team
