The post of Public Health Project Support Co-Ordinator provides an opportunity to use and develop a wide range of skills and knowledge, providing administrative and project support, data management and analysis, and supporting financial processes. With the potential to work across all areas of the Public Health department, this is also an excellent opportunity to develop your public health knowledge and experience and so is an ideal opportunity for those looking to start a career in public health.

The Opportunity
In the role of Public Health Project Support Co-Ordinator, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
You will support the Public Health team with the management of a range of projects and activities such as:
13. Maintaining up-to-date department business processes and asset registers.
14. The collation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of relevant data and information.
15. Providing effective administrative and general project support.
16. Supporting the department’s financial processes such as raising purchase orders, verifying, recording and tracking of invoices.
17. Support the planning, organisation, and facilitation of engagement events, meetings, conferences, seminars and workshops.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have…
18. Some experience of working in an administrative or project support role.
19. The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise appropriately.
20. Have some knowledge of the principles of project and budget management
21. Experience of working as part of a team.
22. GCSE level standard with Grades A-C in English Language and Mathematics or equivalent level of knowledge, experience and competency.
23. Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
24. The ability to communicate and work with a wide range of people.
25. A professional approach with the ability to respond flexibly to changing needs and priorities.
26. Ability to work under pressure on a varied workload
