Overview

Position Summary:

Within the assigned territory, responsible for direct sales of company products and services. Contributes to the attainment of individual, area and company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a high-impact Sales Consultant to drive growth, build strategic relationships, and expand market presence across Western Canada. This individual will operate with a high level of autonomy, owning the full sales cycle while partnering cross-functionally to deliver results.

This is not a transactional sales role. This is for someone who understands how to build, influence, and close at a high level.

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (preferred)Territory: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, ManitobaWork Model: Hybrid / Field-Based (as applicable)

Key Accountabilities:

1. Achieves annual sales objectives as set forth by management.
2. Analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration and purchase of company products and services.
3. Initiates and develops contacts with customers, both existing and potential, with focus on new sales opportunities.
4. Prepares and delivers effective product/sales presentations.
5. Maintains all aspects of the Werfen Customer Database and Property Accountability Documents.
6. Achieves and maintains a high level of competency in knowledge and positioning of Werfen products and services. Strives to achieve similar competency regarding competitive systems.
7. Prepares accurate and effective quotations in accordance with existing policy and procdure.
8. Prepares accurate forecasts and other sales reports as required.
9. Prepares an annual territory business plan, with consideration of current corporate and area focus and objectives.
10. Is responsible for complying with all appropriate ISO mandated policies, procedures, work instructions and other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Sales Management.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

16. Bachelor's degree in Business or Scientific discipline or equivalent experience required.
17. Minimum of 3 years prior sales experience (medical and/or capital sales experience preferred), or equivalent business experience required.
18. Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.

19. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
20. Strong customer focus with customer service mindset
21. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication
22. Goal and action oriented
23. Ability to create working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
24. Ability to work independently with little daily oversight
25. Strong negotiation skills
26. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while driving results in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
27. Ability to create and execute sales presentations that focus on value creation

Travel Requirements:

28. Up to 50% travel.
