About the Role: A library assistant is the first point of contact for our customers, both in person and by phone. Answering enquires and signposting to other agencies where necessary. Assisting customers in using self-service machines and public computers. Staffing the council information point. Assisting and running events for both adults and children. Be responsible for payments relating to library and council charges and other income generation measures. Deputizing as necessary for the Senior Library Assistant.
