TXM Recruit has been supporting this client for several years and is now recruiting a Vehicle Installation Electrician on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing environment working on advanced vehicle electrical systems.
The Role As a Vehicle Installation Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of vehicle electrical systems, ensuring all work meets required quality, safety, and specification standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring full compliance with health and safety policies and workshop procedures
* Installing vehicle electrical control systems in line with technical documentation and specifications
* Installing and modifying vehicle wiring harnesses and electrical components
* Terminating automotive and high-voltage connections up to 800V AC/DC
* Testing and commissioning vehicle electrical systems in line with quality assurance documentation
* Fault finding and repair using bespoke diagnostic software
* Completing work within allocated process times
* Supporting quality sign-off processes and documentation
* Being flexible to work overtime when required
