Job Description As Head of Bids and Proposal, you will lead the successful delivery of high-quality bid submissions across all business segments, from new product development and mature product delivery to through-life support. You’ll deliver a consistent, efficient tender production process while driving excellence at every stage of the bid lifecycle. Working closely with representatives across the business, you will add tangible value by ensuring proposals are compelling, compliant, and strategically aligned. You will oversee resource allocation, manage bid schedules, and provide leadership and mentorship to the bid production and administration teams. You will own the proposal review process, embedding continuous improvement and best practice across the function. Responsible for building, developing, and leading the bid administration team, you will also support future business planning by mapping opportunities into the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process, tracking competitor activity, gathering customer intelligence, and communicating successful awards across the organisation.
