Summary


This is not a typical sales role. It is a pure hunting position designed for individuals who thrive on outbound activity, rejection resilience, and closing in on opportunity.


As a Business Development Manager & Appointment Setter at Annular Group, your sole focus is to identify, engage, and secure high-value demo appointments with decision-makers in scaling SMEs.

You are the front line of revenue generation, opening doors with founders and executives, creating opportunities, and directly influencing deal flow. If you are commercially sharp, relentless in outreach, and motivated by uncapped earning potential, this role offers a clear path to significant income.

Our clients are typically high-growth, resource-conscious businesses that need to hire fast, hire well, and build sustainable talent pipelines. We embed directly into their operations, acting as an extension of their team.


Key Responsibilities


* Execute high-volume outbound outreach across LinkedIn, email, and cold calling
* Identify and engage qualified SME decision-makers (Founders, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, MDs)
* Craft and deliver compelling, insight-led messaging that resonates with scaling businesses
* Qualify prospects based on hiring needs, growth stage, and commercial fit
* Secure high-quality demo appointments for the senior sales/closing team
* Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities through disciplined daily activity
* Manage and track outreach, conversations, and booked meetings
* Deliver clear and structured handover notes to maximise close rates
* Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and performance


Who You Will Target


You will be engaging with UK and US-based SMEs typically characterised by:

Headcount, Turnover and Sectors.


These businesses are often:


* Scaling rapidly with multiple open roles
* Recently funded (Series A, B, or C) and under pressure to grow
* Experiencing hiring bottlenecks or retention challenges


Ideal Candidate Profile


This role is built for individuals who are:

Highly driven and commercially motivated

Comfortable operating in a commission-only environment

Experienced (or confident) in cold outreach and lead generation

Resilient, able to handle rejection and maintain momentum

Strong communicators with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

Process-driven with a focus on daily activity and consistency

Entrepreneurial in mindset, you treat this like your own business

You do not need handholding. You need opportunity and upside.

Organised and data driven


Experience


If you have previous experience in B2B sales, or within recruitment roles where you have had success in winning net new business, this could be the role for you.


Solutions based selling experience is desirable.


An understanding of monthly recuring revenue models.


Location


* This is a fully remote role; you can be based anywhere in the UK or US.
* East Coast US is a preference but not a deal breaker.

Onboarding & Training


Before starting the role, you will be fully trained of the services and products you will be selling, along with initial guidance on route to market and our ICP. (Ideal Client Personas)


Earnings & Commission Structure


* 100% Commission-Only Model
* Uncapped earnings, no ceiling on what you can generate
* Paid per successful deal closed by the senior commercial team
* £3,000 - £5,000 commission per closed UK-based commercial deal
* £7,000 - £9,000 commission per closed US-based commercial deal
* OTE of £8,000 - £15,000 commission per month.


This is a high-leverage earning opportunity. The more qualified meetings you generate, the more deals close, and the more you earn.
