About the Role
Our client is a successful e-commerce aftermarket automotive parts supply company, seeking to recruit an experienced Parts Sales Advisor.
The company has been highly successful overseas and is now entering the UK market. They have secured premises in Reading and are looking for a dedicated team member to enhance their sales performance, reporting to the UK Operations Manager.
As a specialist in aftermarket supply, they operate as an e-commerce business, selling to both retail and trade customers across the UK and internationally.
This primarily office-based role focuses on acquiring new business (both retail and trade) through telephone, email campaigns, social media, and CRM database management.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain and develop customer database
2. Create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business
3. Contribute to maximum customer retention through effective representation
4. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, pricing, and key competitors
5. Produce reports on all sales activities, including follow-up, prospecting, sales presentations, and new client acquisition, to ensure accurate sales forecasts
6. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all reports and paperwork
7. Assist in developing strategies to increase business aligned with the company's growth plan
About You
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role (Trade Parts Advisor / Parts Wholesale / Aftermarket Rep)
* Motor trade experience is essential
* Valid driving license
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Proficient in PC use
* Motivated to drive sales and be part of a dynamic, growing team
Salary
Basic salary: £25,000 – £27,000, OTE up to £30,000 – £32,000
