Overview
To manage the commencement of effective maintenance of mechanical services for catering equipment within the Trusts Establishments. To oversee and manage the servicing, reactive repairs, and deep cleaning of catering equipment. Liaising with the catering management team, organising sub-contractors, reviewing contracts, creating and maintaining an asset register of all equipment. To be the lead for water safety in accordance with HTM 04-01 in healthcare premises, including water safety plan implementation and updating, operational control procedures, audit risk assessments, water sampling and monitoring to BS 8552. To maintain water systems to mitigate the risk of preventable waterborne diseases such as Legionella and Pseudomonas.
