Responsibilities
* Plan and implement care that gives residents security, dignity and independence.
* Know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care; act as a positive influence on the team.
* Assist residents with daily activities (e.g., mobility aids, meals) and communicate with residents and families with kindness.
* Support Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medications as required.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong team relationships.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (NVQ/SVQ) and willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
* Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
* Strong communication, time-management and record-keeping skills; positive energy and ability to work well with others.
