Job Overview
We are looking for experienced Administrative Assistants to work within one of our network of schools in Rotherham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide efficient administrative, clerical and reception support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office. The post holder will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, visitors and staff and will contribute to maintaining a professional and welcoming school environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide reception services, welcoming visitors, parents, pupils and contractors in a professional manner.
* Answer telephone calls, emails and general enquiries, ensuring messages are passed on promptly and accurately.
* Maintain and update pupil, staff and school records using the school's management information system (e.g. SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom).
* Carry out general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry and preparing correspondence.
* Support attendance administration by recording absences, monitoring attendance data and contacting parents when required.
* Assist with the organisation of school events, trips, meetings and communications with parents and external agencies.
