Role and Team
As a vital member of our team, you will report to the Facilities Manager or designated manager. Your mission? To ensure a safe and efficient auction operation for all employees through the repair and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a workplace that is safe and free from hazards, all while adhering to corporate guidelines and policies.
Your Responsibilities
Provide Excellent Customer Service:
* Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous attention to customers.
* Maintain a professional appearance and a friendly disposition.
* Handle customer complaints with grace and report serious issues to management.
Maintain Your Work Station:
* Ensure all auction conditions are safe for employees and customers.
* Respond to accidents and report incidents immediately.
Other Responsibilities:
* Keep equipment and tools in top condition and report maintenance needs.
* Foster teamwork and set a positive example for others.
* Adhere to safety precautions and promote our Core Values.
Maintenance Tech I Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Building Support and Upkeep:
o Perform maintenance tasks including roofing, plumbing, welding, and carpentry.
o Monitor facility conditions for cleanliness and safety.
2. Equipment Support:
o Ensure all equipment is in good operating condition and perform routine maintenance.
o Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for all equipment.
3. Communication:
o Maintain open communication with all personnel.
o Respond to maintenance needs from other departments.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
* Previous maintenance experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills are a plus.
* Strong customer relations and communication skills.
* Ability to understand and adhere to company policies.
Working Conditions
This role involves Medium to Heavy Physical Work. You will be exposed to various environmental conditions, including:
* Constant: Reaching, standing, walking, grasping, talking, hearing.
* Frequent: Stooping, repetitive motion.
* Occasional: Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting.
* Potential: Rapid movements in emergency situations.
