A prestigious Top 200 UK law firm with one of the largest private client teams in the East Midlands is seeking a confident and proactive Trusts Lawyer to join its growing and well-respected team. The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor or legal executive with a strong background in Trusts and Tax planning to join the firms dedicated Trusts team at its Stamford office. You may already specialise in this area or be an experienced private client lawyer with substantial Trusts experience looking to deepen your focus. Working closely with the Head of Trusts and a Partner based in Stamford, your role will involve advising on a wide range of trust-related matters including: Creation, administration, and termination of trusts Drafting trust documentation and deeds Trust tax returns and annual accounts Trust Registration Service (HMRC) compliance Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning Agricultural and Business Property Relief Declarations of Trust Collaborating with colleagues and external advisers You may also assist with Wills (particularly those using trusts) and the administration of both taxable and non-taxable estates. Youll be actively involved in marketing and business development efforts, working with the firms marketing team to grow the department and maintain its strong reputation.
